To provide its compatibility result, eSIM Checker reads information reported locally by the Android operating system, including:

• Device model
• Device codename
• Android version
• Android SDK version
• Android-reported eSIM/eUICC capability
• Android eSIM service availability

This information is processed locally on the user's device.

It is not automatically transmitted to the developer or any third party.

3. Manual Compatibility Checks

The app may allow users to record answers such as:

• Whether an eSIM option was found in Android Settings
• Whether the phone is believed to be carrier unlocked
• Whether an eSIM provider supports the exact phone model

These answers are entered by the user and stored locally on the device.

They are not uploaded to a server.

4. Clipboard

When the user chooses features such as "Copy Exact Model", "Copy Full Report", or "Copy Purchase Check", the app places the requested information on the Android clipboard.

This happens only after an explicit user action.

eSIM Checker does not automatically transmit clipboard contents.

5. Permissions

eSIM Checker is designed to perform its core compatibility checks without dangerous Android runtime permissions.

The app does not request access to:

• Contacts
• Camera
• Microphone
• Photos or media
• Phone state
• SMS
• Call logs

The app does not request access to EID or privileged eSIM information.

6. Internet and Network Access

eSIM Checker does not require Internet access for its core functionality.

Compatibility checks are performed locally on the device.

7. eSIM Compatibility Disclaimer

Compatibility information is based on capabilities reported by Android and information confirmed by the user.

eSIM Checker cannot guarantee that a particular eSIM will work.

Actual compatibility may depend on factors including:

• Device regional variant
• Device firmware
• Carrier restrictions
• Carrier lock status
• eSIM provider requirements
• Destination mobile networks

Users should verify final compatibility with their carrier or eSIM provider before purchasing an eSIM.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Because eSIM Checker does not operate user accounts or a backend database, the developer does not retain user compatibility data on a server.

Locally stored app preferences and manually entered compatibility answers can be reset from within the app.

Users can also remove locally stored app data by clearing the app's data in Android Settings or uninstalling the app.

eSIM Checker is a general utility and is not designed specifically for children.
